The art of ‘protective styling’

image

Heyy guys,
Okay so what is protective styling? Im sure we all know. 😀
Protective styling entails putting your hair into a style whereby the ends are tucked away so as to prevent damage and ensure hair growth (especially good for those of us that have hand in hair syndrome). There’s an issue as to which can be described as low manipulation styles and protective styles. I do not exactly know the difference but Im going to be talking about the usual and most common protective styles in Nigeria like Braids, twists, weaves, and wigs.
1. Braids and Twists
I think it’s right to say that this is the most popular protective style. There are so many types of twists and braids.

It is however very important to make sure that your hair is still being taken care of underneath these styles,  if not,  you ain’t gonna see no growth.
